The interactive work for LIND spans the app, websites, controller interface, and displays for the charger and battery.
Early on, the product had to remain largely hidden and in many cases did not yet physically exist. We therefore built a visual world around high-end 3D renderings and flowing fabrics.
I wanted the art direction to feel more like an art installation than traditional tech communication. The textiles became a recurring element, moving almost like water and connecting back to Canvas — the name of LIND’s first edition — as well as the layered materials used in surfboard construction.
The fabrics were created and animated in Cinema 4D, and later used across digital experiences, films and Instagram content.
