The automotive industry has been using racing to promote its products since Henry Ford beat Alexander Winton in a 10-mile race in Grosse Pointe. But for how long?

The racing of the future will be electric, and we will probably also see new variants in the sport when new technologies will provide new opportunities. One variation might be the Off Road Formula.

This project was created testing some new techniques and workflow between Cinema 4D and Substance Painter.

Under the surface we find two 2.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5620 “Westmere” processors and an ATI Radeon HD 5870 graphic cards, a Wi-Fi connection and 12 Bose micro speakers. The table is 2.74 m long, 1.52 m wide, 76 cm high and 5 cm thick. The surface, which is more or less a huge screen, is made of soft acrylic that gives the correct smooth, low-friction coating.
