Getting to work simultaneously with both LEGO and Star Wars is like fulfilling an old childhood dream, and we were given the opportunity to do so when tasked with creating a 60-second launch trailer for their new buildable figures from The Last Jedi. The film was collaboratively crafted with Svep.tv.
Working on this project allowed us, as art directors and film directors, to emphasize the immense value of great design in the production process. Every element, from the meticulous construction of the LEGO buildable figures to the careful curation of Star Wars' iconic universe, served as a testament to the power of thoughtful design. It was our responsibility to ensure that the visual aesthetic captured the imagination of viewers, showcasing the extraordinary potential that arises when artistry and storytelling seamlessly merge. Collaborating with Svep.tv enabled us to amplify this message and create a launch trailer that celebrates the beauty and impact of exceptional design.
