In celebration of North Kingdom's 20th anniversary, we embarked on creating a captivating showreel with a strong narrative focus. To effectively utilize our limited time, we made the decision to craft it using Unreal Engine. This choice allowed us to collaborate seamlessly through the Perforce service, enabling simultaneous work on both the visual and technical aspects, as well as animation.
For the storyline, we centered our showreel around a charming robot serving as a Conservator at The Pixelarium, a museum. The robot played a pivotal role in managing the preparations for the upcoming exhibition opening. The exhibition itself showcased the culmination of 20 years of our work, represented by four distinct monuments, each symbolizing a five-year period.
The showreel takes viewers on a mesmerizing journey as the robot diligently controls the exhibits, revealing the evolution and accomplishments of North Kingdom over the past two decades. From the early years to the present day, each monument captures the essence of the innovative projects and creative milestones we have achieved along the way.
